Okay between becky posting about the PM issues, someone else posting 'bout the Person Watch issues and several of us posting 'bout the boards issues, i gather the email script somehow got shot.
Chris I understand you have a life (who doesn't?), but when you get a chance can you please look into this?

Well, the weird thing is, sometimes I'll get an email notification for a subscribed topic and sometimes I won't. And the times I do, it always goes into my spam folder. That never happened before. Obviously, something is up.
It sure would be nice to get a response about this and my earlier topic regarding the same problem from a CL or admin.
Well, if you have successfully received the Email but it's going into spam, that problem is most likely on your Email provider's end. But if you don't receive it at all, that would most likely be a zone issue.
I did mention it to dug , so we'll see what happens . he said he'd mention it to chris. I use Gmail and I was able to get messages before.
I use gmail also, and the messages never went into my spam folder, at least not until a few months ago. I also don't use a program like Outlook or Thunderbird. Those programs screw around with everything rather than make it easier, in my opinion. So I just use the gmail website. Either way, the point is it's really hit or miss. There's one topic I'm subscribed to that no emails show up at all, in spam or otherwise, when someone replies to it, but there are a couple others that have been diverted to my spam folder. I would have missed them entirely if I didn't check that every day just to get rid of the crap that builds up there.
You should be able to label those Emails as "not spam", at least if you're using Gmail, which would solve that problem.
I have, and they keep going there. When I label them not spam, they're moved to my inbox, but the next time I get an email from the Zone they continue to go into my spam anyway.
I use Gmail, and I haven't gotten any messages about my subscribed topics or private messages lately, either.

No, I use Outlook. I don't subscribe to topics so don't know about that, but as I said in another topic, I am not getting emails about PM's.
Becky i meant those who do not use Gmail as there email provider.
The only 2 emails i got for a long time from Zone is as following:
1. regarding my payment from paypal. and
2. wishing me a happy birthday the day after my birthday. nope, it is not Australian time zone vs american time zone differ, i got it on 00:01 American Eastern Time on the 24th of February.
I got a happy birthday from the zone too , but that was a w wile ago, when the emails were workin
Well, my birthday is coming up. I'll let you know. haha.
There was an issue which may have flagged some of our outgoing emails as Spam. The issue is fixed and I am hopeful that things will return to normal over the next few weeks.

Okay so i'm no longer getting notifiers again.
if I remember right, there's no place to turn it off and on, right ?
And I'm still not getting notification of voice mails and new private messages that are sent when I am not on the site.
Cris did fix it and it worked for a bit, but it is no longer working.
now topic reply notifier will come in quicknotes .
but that HTMl code is broken, too.
the "View it now" isn't a link.
no notifications at all here.

To be honest, I never used Email notifiers only because it'll fill up my inbox, so I turned off Notifiers last year, plus I too recieved that Happy Birthday thing the day after my actual Birthday and I'm from Australia but I don't care, Notifiers is just annoying and I'm way to busy to be deleting these Email Notifications messages.
Well, since I don't get many PM's or voice mails, email notification would definitely be appreciated since these notifications would not fill up my in box as I don't get
many. I forget to check when I log in to see if I have any PM's or voice mails because they come so rarely, but I feel bad if I've ignored such a message for several days simply because I didn't know I had one. I really liked the email notification feature when it was working.
I am too having issues. I changed my email in my account a couple of weeks ago and I was never sent the varafication code. I also noticed I haven't gotten any emails telling me I recieved private messages. I had to have Doug fix my issue with my email change in my account. I sent a message to the admends twice and did not hear anything. I couldn't log in for a few days because I had to varify my account. I couldn't do this because I wasn't recieving the emails.
I didn't read all the posts here, but I agree with the first one. I'm currently subscribed to several posts, and while I see that a number of them have new posts, I haven't received e-mail notifications from The Zone in months! Hopefully, this issue will be resolved soon, and if an answer was given in this thread, I apologise. I literally don't have time to read everything here at the moment.
IT was given Tiff, and it was fixed.
but it broke again so I thought instead of revisiting the subject with a new one, I'd just continue this thread.
All, please refresh me: you can't turn off notifier for board posts, can you?
when I had PM notifier on, it did send those.
Nicky, did you check your spam folder? often, messages from the zone end up there, unless they're marked as "not spam".

some of them when i clikced them, i had already read all the posts .

I got a huge number of posts as well! I couldn't help but laugh and think about this post, and imagine that they were catching up.
Now it appears to be fixed, again.

I got an email for my birthday one day late, too.
I got an email for my birthday 6 days late. Lol. Well, I'm glad it was fixed again.

i had checked my spamm and nothing. I did get a load of emails all at once like everyone else.

Today imagine my surprise when I checked my email and found an alert that I had a PM on the zone. If this feature is consistently working again, I will be very happy. As I said in an earlier post, there's no fear of these types of alerts crowding my in box because I don't get private mail or voice mail on the zone very often, so getting an alert to let me know I have one will keep me from unintentionally ignoring someone.
